Our
Story

Imperial Kitchens and Baths, Inc. was incorporated in 1966 by Bob Wiora; who was soon joined by partners Niles Alter and Ross Lange.  The company had two locations; 47th Street in Lyons and on 60th and Pulaski in Chicago.

Imperial specialized in the remodeling of kitchens and baths. The onsite cabinet shop allowed the company to build many of their own cabinets and countertops. With a talented shop, the company soon took off in the direction of cabinet refacing.

Over time, the original partners retired and childhood friends Ed Pudelek and Larry Rych took over the operation.  The showrooms were consolidated and moved to our current home at 8918 Ogden Avenue in Brookfield.  With Ed’s retirement in 2012, our supervisor and remodeling expert, John Krupka, became Larry’s new partner.

We have since become a family business with two generations of two families involved with the daily operations.
